Activities
GO2VET will implement its activities across 2 main project phases:
FIRST PHASE
In the FIRST PHASE partners will work to map main barriers and bottlenecks preventing young and adult TCNs to access vocational training paths and to define a common approach and a multilevel capacity building programme for operators working in public/NGOs VET careers guidance services.
GO2VET activities of this phase will be focused on:
Sharing
Sharing a survey among project beneficiaries to assess main barriers preventing young and adult TCNs to access vocational training paths and to map existing bottlenecks of the VET system in recruiting students to be finally integrated into the labour market.
Making
Making internal peer-review consultations among the partners operators to further elaborate lessons learnt and practical guidelines for TCNs service workers to better provide VET career guidance services.
Drafting
Drafting a multilevel capacity building programme to foster competences and skills of public/NGOs operators and VET tutors/mentors working with TCNs career guidance.
Second phase
In the SECOND PHASE partners will organise and deliver the blended training programme for operators and they will further pilot one-stop-shops for TCNs young ad adult people approaching vocational training paths.
GO2VET activities of this phase will be focused on:
Selecting
Selecting, on the basis of a common set of criteria, the pilot group of operators working with refugees, asylum seekers and migrants that will participate in the GO2VET capacity building programme.
Implementing
Implementing 120 hours of training activities, combining online training activities with 3 onsite seminars to be hosted: one in Germany, one in Belgium and one in Italy. Training seminars will also represent practical workshops to experiment situations and problems typical of TCNs approaching vocational training paths.
Piloting
Piloting the services of one-stop-shops for TCNs VET career guidance to be implemented by the operators previously trained by the GO2VET capacity building. These services will be offered on partners' organisations premises and they will run on a weekly basis for almost one year.
